This is my most recent completed painting. I call it ‘Chetzemoka’, as the cliffs of Chetzemoka Park of Port Townsend appear in the distance. This watercolor and others, all featuring images from our Salish Canoe Journey, will be on view and for sale at the Northwind Gallery in Port Townsend, Washington. I have prints available as well. Please join us for the opening during Art Walk on Saturday, March 2, 2018, 5:30-8.
Month: January 2019
Started this today
The composition on this one is proving to be a great challenge. There are a few things that stand out for me and will be a fun challenge to turn around. Especially since this is watercolor. I’ll post more progress in the next week.
Northwind Gallery, Port Townsend, WA
Northwind Gallery of Port Townsend, Washington, has invited me for a final viewing of my Canoe Paintings before choosing their upcoming ‘Showcase’ artists. Honored to be considered and excited for the interview later this month. Stay tuned.
Thanks EquesFest for a Great Show
What a great show we had on Saturday at the Tacoma Convention Center. I want to extend my appreciation to all those in charge of organization to this event both within EquesFest and the Convention Center. Everyone was efficient and kind. I sold many cards, prints, and wire jumpy horses. I got to meet a few young women who are art majors in High School and College and their amazing moms. And I met a funny man who has been roped into managing various horse show activities from Paddock Steward to managing Northwest Regionals. Thanks everyone.
